Mandatory Fundraisers for the School Year 2009-2010: Each year the HSA is assessed a major financial obligation to Trinity Academy. This obligation is fulfilled primarily through mandatory fundraising programs outlined below. The proceeds of all these events are used to enhance programs in existence and/or to initiate new programs to support our faculty and children.
Non-Mandatory Fundraisers for the School Year:
Year after year, this fundraiser provides significant funds to Trinity. Each family is responsible to purchase at least $3,000 in shopping cards throughout the school year. This year we hope to improve the success of this program by providing a wider selection of merchants, adding on-line ordering, and providing a match credit for all Lands’ End purchases. Ø Increased selection.Cards will now be available in stock for the following merchants:
*Denominations may vary depending on availability Ø All
Land’s End purchases will receive double credit Ø On-line
Purchasing Shopping cards will also continue to be available:
A few notes about the program: Ø For purposes of this program the “school year” will close out as of May 31, 2010. All purchases and buyouts must be completed as of this date. Ø Trinity Academy is not responsible for cards lost in transit. Shopping cards are equivalent to cash and cannot be replaced if lost. Ø If you have any questions, please contact Diane McKiernan at diane.mckiernan@comcast.net
#2 Tricky Tray Basket Donation Trinity Academy Home School Association will again proudly host Tricky Tray on Friday, January 22, 2010. Each family will be responsible for donating a basket valued at $50.00. However, donating a basket valued at $50.00 does not mean you have to spend $50.00! Be a smart shopper and hit the sales! Baskets will be due on Tuesday, January 8th. Additionally, families may choose to combine their donations and provide a joint basket meeting the Grand or Super prize criteria. Our Tricky Tray Committee will provide details on Grand and Super prize donations at a later date. Attendance at Tricky Tray is not mandatory. This is an evening of fun and tickets are expected to sell out as quickly as they did last year.
#3 50/50 Raffle Tickets for Casino Night Our annual 50/50 Raffle will be held during Trinity Academy Casino Night 2010 scheduled for April 23, 2010 at Mayfair Farms in West Orange. Each family will be responsible for the purchase and/or sale of 5 raffle tickets. Raffle tickets will be sold for $5 each or $25 for a book of 5 tickets. The sale and/or purchase of 10 tickets by each family will generate $25 for the raffle. Family tickets will be sent home for purchase approximately two months before the drawing date. |
