Students at Trinity Academy are invited to participate in the various seasonal sports that are offered for students in K-8. Boys and girls may participate in clinics starting in Pre-K/4 and Kindergarten, and in teams in grades one through eight. Students participate in organized leagues with local towns and other private schools.
Our soccer program kicks off each fall, followed by basketball in the winter and baseball and softball in the spring. We encourage all families to participate in the many athletic related activities throughout the year. Parent members assist our Athletic Director, Michael LaTorraca, by acting as coaches and assistance coaches of select teams at Trinity Academy.
It is only with the assistance of parents and outside volunteers who coach or assist that we are able to execute a successful sports program. To this end, all volunteers are required to complete CPR instruction and participate in “Protecting God’s Children,” which ensures that all the necessary requirements are put in place to teach and instruct in accordance with guidelines set forth by the Archdiocese of Newark.
All registrations are handled online on Trinity Academy's main site. Simply click here to be taken to the school's main Athletic Page. There you will find registration instructions and online forms for soccer, basketball, baseball and softball.
Payments for athletic fees are made through the H.S.A. Treasurer, simply click here to make a payment or send a check to the school office. If paying by check, please make checks payable to Trinity Academy and note on check as sport registration. Check is to be submitted to office in an envelope labeled "Sports Registration Fee."
Finally, please print and complete a Medical Release and Code of Conduct Certification – this may be filled out and mailed or returned to the Trinity Office. These forms provide necessary information including medical/allergy disclosures that the school requires in order to protect the safety of the each child. This form is required for each participant and are valid for every sport that the athlete participates in from September to June of the current academic year. (So you only have to fill these out one time for the entire year).
Schedules will either be provided by each coach at the beginning of the season and/or will be added here throughout the year.
